I have now created a Facebook group and event both called:
waterpilgrim - 1000kms with no money for WaterAid
Within 3 minutes I had a wonderful offer of somewhere to stay in Exmouth from a very old friend of mine called Giles.
And so it begins....

This pilgrimage relies on the kindness of strangers. From a simple 'hello', a quick sandwich to a place to sleep, I am relying on the people I meet to offer help.
